Tim Keller

Tim has 32 years of experience in the medical industry. His career started at the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in June of 1989 where he became the orderly in surgery, quickly moved through many other positions. While he continued his career with St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, he took a second job at Holy Cross Living Center. Tim quickly built a personal brand that led to numerous awards and then to positions at Stryker, and later at Smith & Nephew Orthopedics. In these roles, Tim forged close partnerships with physicians. He then became a consultant in specialty retail pharmacy, through which he helped multiple companies in a distribution model set up national distribution and market penetration. Through these experiences, and being diagnosed with diabetes himself, Tim recognized a need for better diabetes care in the health care industry. Tim believes that USDC will be a paradigm shift in the way medicine will be provided to diabetics. 

 

Tim has been involved with multiple Start Ups in Orthopedics, Pharmacy, distribution models, and Physician owned models, which have since been acquired.

Steve Burns MD

Stephen recently retired from practicing orthopedic surgery for 33 years in Michigan City, IN, with extensive experience in treating the surgical complications of diabetes. Stephen graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1977 and the Indiana University School of Medicine in 1981. He completed his orthopedic surgical residency at Henry Ford Hospital in 1982.

 

Stephen has received numerous awards throughout his career and has served as President of the LaPorte County Medical Society, Medical Staff President of Memorial Hospital in South Bend, and Medical Staff President of St. Anthony Memorial in Michigan City. He joined U.S. Diabetes Care to serve as the Career Medical Officer in 2018.

 

Stephen put relationships at the center of the care he offered his patients throughout his career. He retired from practicing orthopedic surgery in December 2018 and is currently enjoying retirement, spending his time with his nine grandchildren, golf, travel, coaching and his beautiful wife, Judy.

Jim is the President and CEO of JLG Solutions LLC. He is involved in several health care related business ventures.

 

Jim’s diverse experience spans business start-ups and turnarounds, along with management team development. He excels at directing operations, distribution, and sales & marketing as well as process improvement, supply chain management, and revenue stream development. Over the years, Jim has generated millions of dollars in cost savings and bottom-line contributions, in addition to procuring and managing billions of dollars in product annually.

 

Jim graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a BS in Business Administration in 1973 and from Xavier University with an MBA in Business Management in 1976.

Paresh Chari

Retired as Chairman of the Board of Dura-Line Corporation. Also served on the Advisory Board of Directors for Wavin (Netherlands) and Netafim (Israel). Served as the Chairman of the Board of 4M Carbon Fiber until June 2020. Currently serves on the Advisory Board of Onward Capital and Revolution MD. From 2016 through January 2018 was the President of ORBIA’s Fluent Group, which combined 3 companies acquired in various geographies and different platforms into a $4+ billion group. Was President and CEO of Dura-Line Corporation from 1998 to 2018 and Chairman since then. Grew Dura-Line from $65M to over $1.3 billion, under multiple owners and created value for every one of them. ORBIA acquired Dura-Line in September 2014 at a 11.3 multiple.

 

Prior to Dura-Line, Paresh held executive positions in Fortune 500 companies: Emerson, AT&T, Halliburton and Ernst and Young. Significant experience with private equity firms including Jordan Group (Chicago); Sun Capital (Boca Raton); Audax (Boston) and CHS Capital (Chicago), who were all prior owners of DuraLine besides Emerson. M.B.A. from the University of Michigan with masters and bachelor’s degrees in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and National Institute of Technology, respectively. Paresh is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Completed Directors’ College certification program at Stanford in 2013 and various executive programs at Northwestern (2011) and Harvard (2017). Paresh was honored as a Distinguished Alumnus by his alma mater ITT in 2020.
